The new Gardening group is open to anyone with an interest in gardening - whether you’re an experienced gardener, a complete beginner, or simply someone who enjoys plants and the outdoors.
The group will offer a varied programme each year.
During the summer we will head out to visit gardens, flower shows, and festivals. We will also organise relaxed trips to nearby NGS open gardens and villages, visit members’ gardens, and enjoy nature walks in local parks.
From October to April, meetings will be held inside at Elm Ridge Methodist Church in the Harroway room. During these meetings we will offer talks and demonstrations from outside speakers. We will also run hands-on simple practical sessions and have friendly discussions about what we’re growing.
